The Federal Public Corporate Governance Code (B-PCGK), which was adopted by the Federal Government on 30 October 2012 and amended in 2017 with the Federal Public Corporate Governance Code 2017 (B-PCGK 2017), aims to make corporate management and monitoring more transparent and comprehensible, as well as to define the role of the Federal Government and the companies of the Federal Government as shareholders more clearly.
B-PCGK 2017 applies to companies whose direct or indirect majority shareholder is the Republic of Austria. It is therefore generally applicable to IG/BLM, which prepare a separate Corporate Governance Report each year.
