The residential building on Otto-Wagner-Platz 4-4a is back in new splendour.
Approx. 4,250 m² have been refurbished in the autumn of 2017. Flats were renovated, the entire facade was repainted, balconies were added, electrical installations and lifts were refitted, the house underwent a fire update, and all areas of the building were optimised and visually enhanced.
The lobby includes an impressive mural by artist Revkin, making the entrance area the heart of the building. The mural was funded by “Kunst am Bau”.
The stairs received a new colour system, clearly separating the three staircases. Large glass fronts flood the interior with plenty of natural daylight, while the new indirect lighting creates a pleasant atmosphere. With its mural, the entrance area feels especially welcoming and now also includes an electronic notice board, letterboxes, intercoms and plants. The waste and bike room are also new, and the courtyard has been turned into a green oasis with attractive plants. So, the tenants may look forward to a completely refurbished house. Worth mentioning are also the superior location at the heart of the 9th district with an architecturally impressive neighbourhood, large parks for peaceful walks and relaxation and a great programme of culture and leisure activities. Another bonus is the exceptionally good public transport and the proximity to the city’s main university and the campus on the premises of the former general hospital Altes AKH.
